Tangible Assets (PPE) Workings
Schedule III, Part I — Division I (Section I) — FY 2025-26Definition
Assets held for use in the production or supply of goods or services, for rental to others, or for administrative purposes, which are expected to be used for more than 12 months.
Recognition Criteria
Recognized under AS 10 (Revised) / PPE when: (a) it is probable that future economic benefits associated with the asset will flow to the enterprise; and (b) the cost of the asset can be measured reliably.
Measurement Principles
Initially measured at cost (purchase price, import duties, directly attributable costs of bringing the asset to working condition). Subsequently measured at cost less accumulated depreciation and impairment.
